Lu Travels Abroad--LIFE WITH RA
By Lu Sobredo
I am touched by conversations with friends and strangers, both in person and online about chronic illness and other types of limitations. Some of my contacts from the U.S. and abroad have shared their stories of persistence, resilience and courage as they go about life while navigating some serious medical condition.
The underlying theme of their stories: an unwavering drive to live and travel.
The underlying theme of their stories: an unwavering drive to live and travel.
So starting in November 2017, I published articles or journal-like entries on my Blogsite. Here's hoping they could inspire and be of support for others. Some articles might appear in the third person with a fictitious name to honor request for anonymity by some. Majority of the narratives in the series are about my personal experience as someone with a debilitating chronic illness called Rheumatoid Arthritis, hence the Title--LIFE WITH RA.
This is also an OPEN INVITATION to friends and family to submit their stories as guest writers for the Blog site.
